差異の観測：​スライスロースハム群

肌理に肉の繊維が残っている４枚１パックのスライスロースハムは、その肌理がゆるやかに連続しており、もとは一つの肉塊であったことが痕跡として読み取れる。また、それら１枚１枚をアニメーションの１フレームと捉えて連続再生すると、その繊維は脈打つように動き出し、見慣れていたはずのスライスロースハムに潜む、生々しさが露わになる。本作は、スライスロースハム特有の製造工程や、 物質性、 そして1枚1枚の微かな差異に注目し、 映像インスタレーションで展開した。

Loin ham slices, packaged in sets of four, have meat fibers that remain visible in their texture. These fibers subtly connect the slices with a continuous pattern, suggesting that they were once part of a single piece of meat. When each slice is converted into one frame of animation and played in sequence, the fibers seem to come alive and pulsate, exposing the rawness hidden beneath the once familiar, sliced ham. This work was developed as a video installation, highlighting the distinct production process of sliced loin ham, its materiality, and the subtle variations found in each slice.
