違う形の定規で同じ曲線を描こうとしたとき、異なる挙動で曲線上を進みます。曲線を描く際に使用される雲型定規を、アルファベットのアウトラインに置き換えてみた際に、その文字の形状や寸法などによって、動きが変化する様子を表した作品です。

Despite its fixed shape, the French curve ruler patiently adjusts its orientation to align with the curve that is envisioned, evincing its unique personality.
French curve rulers come in various shapes, and, naturally, each one moves differently, even when used to draw the same curve. In runners, the letters A to Z are converted into tools for drawing curves, much like a French curve ruler. The letters move around while rotating as if to squirm along a given curve. By replacing the variations in the shape of each letter with variations in their squirming movement, the distinct character of each letter emerges.
